How does it work?
First, an email consultation. You send us a few photos of your hair and then the doctor will tell you what he can do. We usually need photos from each side, from the back, from the front and from the top.
Many people only need one operation but if you have hair loss throughout your scalp then you may need two. The doctor looks at each person individually.
He can implant a maximum of 5000 grafts which is always split over two operations. This depends on how many hairs you have available in the sides and back of your head. Please note that a graft can contain more than one hair. We calculate our prices based on the number of grafts that Dr De Reys extracts, not on the number of hairs.
For people who only want to get the front or the back of their head done, you will probably only need one operation. Up to 3000 grafts can be done in one operation which can take more than one day.
Once we have your photos, then we’ll send you a quote based on what the doctor thinks you need. This may take up to ten days as the doctor has a busy schedule.
Are Dr De Reys’ consultations free?
Yes, all our consultations are free of charge.
What is the Doctor looking for?
Dr De Reys will evaluate your stage of hair loss, do an analysis of the density of your donor hair and make a professional assessment of how your expectations can be met.
How much does the procedure cost?
We pay for your accommodation, breakfast, food during the operation and transport to and from the airport or railway station. This is all included in the price.
Here is our current price list:
- 1000 grafts : 3500 euros
- 1500 grafts : 4500 euros
- 2000 grafts : 5500 euros
- 2500 grafts : 6500 euros
- 3000 grafts : 7500 euros
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. We take a deposit of fifteen percent (15%) of the total cost. This will be deducted from the final total.
We will then send you a date for the operation. We are usually booked out for two months in advance.
In the event of a no-show or a late cancellation then we reserve the right to withhold payment.
You can let us know one month in advance if you want to change the date of the operation.
When do I pay the rest?
The balance is due on the day of the operation. We only accept payment in euros so please convert the prices into your currency and then pay. You can pay with cleared funds from a bank transfer or in cash. We do not take credit cards.
If you want to make a transfer then please make sure that the balance is paid into our account no later than the day of the procedure. Transfers can take up to seven working days.
